Tip 2: Arrange an energy label for your house
Before you can start making your house more sustainable, you need an energy label. This way you know exactly in which area energy-saving measures are possible. Check carefully whether you already have one, because since 2015, a house must have a valid energy label when it is sold or rented out.
An energy label indicates how energy-efficient your home is. You can easily request this document below and then receive it as a (PDF) document. The label classes run from A to G. A home with an A label is the most energy efficient and a home with a G label is the least energy efficient. The label also provides an overview of housing characteristics, such as the housing type, insulation, glazing and heating.

Tip 3: Start with sustainability (step by step)
For sustainable solutions you often pay significant one-off investment costs. This is one reason that stops many people.
